2020-2021

COMPETITION SUCCESS

     Our 2020-2021 Competition Season has certainly been one like no other. In true ADFA form, though, our dancers have risen to the occasion. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the ADFA competition troupes first stepped back onto the competition stage in August at Platinum National Dance Competition. We were honored to take home choreography awards in every category we competed, achieve numerous first overall rankings, and receive recognition for the highest technique score of all numbers ages 12 & over.

       In February we began our official 2021 Competition Season at Encore! We were once again recognized with numerous first overall (and top 10) placements. Our production number was selected as the Most Entertaining group, and most significantly, our studio was chosen to receive the Spirit of Encore Award. This award is given to the studio who displays not only outstanding dances, but students and staff who are outstanding people as well. Of all the honors our studio has been fortunate enough to receive, this one was definitely extra-special!
